What an inspector checks

Not a dashboard — a defensible evidence chain

A graph shows what the water or the air is doing. An inspection asks something else: when a reading went out of range, did a named person do a prescribed thing, did a later measurement prove it worked, and did someone sign for it. WOLKIS carries all nine links — risk assessment, written scheme of control, asset register, scheduled checks, actual readings, exceptions, corrective action, verification, and sign-off into a signed audit trail — for water safety, legionella, pool chemistry, indoor air quality and food safety. Each link is mapped to the Dubai Municipality clause that requires it here, clause by clause.

Before the reading

Risk assessment kept current, written scheme of control with a named trained person, and an asset register where every tank, calorifier, riser, tower and outlet carries its own identifier — so a reading is traceable to a place, not just to a device.

Around the reading

Scheduled checks on the cadence the regulation sets, readings captured automatically with their source and timestamp, and an exception raised the moment a value leaves the permitted range — not at month-end reconciliation.

After the reading

Corrective action bound to the exception that triggered it with an owner and a due date, verification by a follow-up measurement before anything closes, and a signed, time-sealed audit trail an inspector reads as it stands.

Questions we are asked before every deployment

What does WOLKIS actually do?

WOLKIS is a compliance automation platform for UAE facilities. It combines LoRaWAN sensors, automated logs, alerts, dashboards and inspector-ready reports, so the record of compliance is produced continuously rather than reconstructed before an inspection.

Which compliance areas are covered?

Five modules: HACCP temperature monitoring for restaurants; building indoor air quality for offices, schools, clinics, hotels and malls; pool chemistry and Legionella risk monitoring; Vape Guard for school and hospitality restrooms; and portfolio-level compliance for property managers and FM operators.

Does WOLKIS detect Legionella directly?

No. WOLKIS monitors temperature and operational risk proxies. It does not measure Legionella CFU/L and does not replace accredited laboratory sampling where regulation requires it.

Can it be used in clinical areas of a hospital?

No. The healthcare scope is facility-level indoor air and water-system monitoring. It is not intended for operating rooms, ICUs or sterile compounding areas, which require specialist validated systems.

Is the published pricing final?

Published pricing is starting pricing. The final figure depends on the site survey, the number of sensors and the service level agreed.

Does the vape detection use cameras or microphones?

No. Vape Guard is privacy-first: no camera, no audio recording and no personally identifiable information. It senses vapour and particle signatures only.
