WOLKIS supports a defined subset of UAE hospital compliance: non-clinical Indoor Air Quality (admin offices, cafeterias, public corridors, waiting rooms β Federal Law 5/2025 + DM-HSD-GU119 v4) and Legionella RISK PROXY via DHW pipe surface temperature and cooling tower monitoring (DM-HSD-GU44 v3 risk indicators).
What we do NOT cover: operating rooms, cleanrooms, ICUs, pharmacies (require ISO 14644 cleanroom-class hardware) Β· direct Legionella CFU/L measurement (requires lab analysis). Built for facility teams at SEHA, Purehealth, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Mediclinic, NMC, Burjeel. UAE-licensed (Primeshield, Dubai mainland 1413480), ICV-favored. Rafed registration in progress.
UAE healthcare facilities answer to a layered regulatory environment. WOLKIS reports cover the facility-management portion of these standards β not clinical care quality, not direct Legionella CFU/L analysis. Each authority below has audit methodology our reports are formatted for.
Contract structures we support: Turnkey EPC (40% of large facility deals β design-procure-construct-operate over 3-5 years) Β· SaaS subscription (50% β pay-per-sensor/month at AED 50-200 per sensor) Β· Hybrid Pilot-to-Scale (60% β 3-6 month trial β full rollout). Mid-size hospital (Mediclinic-scale) typically allocates AED 1-5M/year for facility IoT; group-level (SEHA, Purehealth) scales to AED 10M+ group-wide.
Rafed registration is in process. Rafed (the centralized UAE healthcare procurement platform launched 2025) is the primary procurement channel for SEHA, Purehealth, Mediclinic Middle East, NMC Healthcare and Burjeel Holdings. Primeshield Software Trading L.L.C β the UAE operator behind WOLKIS β is a Dubai mainland licensed entity (1413480), satisfying In-Country Value (ICV) mandates favoring UAE-based vendors. Registration timeline is typically 4-8 weeks; we welcome direct inquiries from healthcare procurement teams during the process.
WOLKIS supports a subset of JCI Hospital Accreditation Standards Chapter 1 (Facility Management and Safety). Specifically: indoor air quality monitoring (COβ, PM2.5, TVOC, T/RH) in non-clinical areas β administrative offices, public corridors, cafeterias, waiting rooms β aligned with Environment of Care (EC) facility expectations. We do NOT directly measure Legionella CFU/L; we monitor DHW pipe surface temperature and cooling tower temperature as risk proxies (>50 Β°C in DHW return = risk indicator). For direct Legionella CFU/L results, partner with accredited UAE labs (DM-HSD-GU44 v3 requires periodic lab sampling regardless). WOLKIS is not ISO 13485 certified (commercial-grade hardware, not medical device class). We do not monitor operating rooms, cleanrooms, ICUs, pharmacies, or other clinical spaces β those require HEPA, positive pressure, and ISO 14644 cleanroom-class sensors outside our current product line.
WOLKIS supports integration with hospital BMS (Honeywell Forge, Siemens Desigo, Johnson Controls Metasys) via Modbus, BACnet, and REST API gateways. For EMR/clinical systems including DHA Malathiya platform: webhook-based event delivery allows compliance events (IAQ exceedance, Legionella alert) to be associated with relevant facility records. Custom integrations available for group-level deployments (SEHA, Purehealth).
Pilots are facility-scoped, not clinical-scoped. Typical structure: 3 months, one zone (e.g., one administrative floor for IAQ β 8-12 sensors β or one cooling tower / DHW pipe loop for Legionella temperature monitoring). KPIs: 95% uptime SLA, data completeness, audit-ready report generation. We do NOT promise HAI (Hospital-Acquired Infection) reduction β that is a clinical outcome dependent on Infection Control program design and direct Legionella sampling that we do not perform. ISO 13485 not held β commercial-grade hardware. WOLKIS ISO 27001 certification in progress, SOC 2 Type II targeted Q3 2026. ICV score >40% β Primeshield UAE entity satisfies this directly for Rafed and ICV-driven procurement.
Honest scope clarity for Infection Control teams and procurement reviewers:
β Clinical spaces β operating rooms, ICUs, isolation rooms, pharmacies, sterile compounding (require ISO 14644 cleanroom-class hardware, HEPA differential monitoring, positive/negative pressure verification β not in our product line)
β Direct Legionella detection β we monitor temperature as a risk proxy, not CFU/L. Hospital Infection Control programs must continue accredited lab sampling under DM-HSD-GU44 v3
β HAI / clinical outcome guarantees β facility-level data layer only, not a clinical intervention
β ISO 13485 medical device certification β our sensors are commercial grade (Milesight AM319, Dragino LHT65N etc.). For JCI surveyors requiring medical-grade calibration certificates in clinical zones, we are not the vendor
Where we DO add value: non-clinical IAQ (cafeterias, public, admin), facility Legionella temperature proxy, DM-format compliance reports, DHA Malathiya webhook integration for facility data. Be honest with your Infection Control colleagues during procurement review.
Annual cycle aligned with fiscal year (January-December): planning Oct-Dec prior year, approval Q1 (January-March), tenders and pilots Q2-Q3 (April-September). Tenders are often timed around Arab Health (January, Dubai) for healthcare-specific solutions. Mid-sized hospital (Mediclinic-scale) allocates AED 1-5M annually for facility IoT; group-level (SEHA, Purehealth) scales to AED 10M+ group-wide. Capex vs Opex: IoT systems typically Opex (SaaS subscriptions, AED 50-200/sensor/month) for scalability; capex for hardware installs.
Direct: [email protected], wolkis.ai. Tender portals: TendersOnTime (hospital and facility management categories), GlobalTenders (UAE healthcare), Abu Dhabi Government Procurement Gate (ADGPG), MoF/DHA portals. Industry events: Arab Health (January Dubai, 50K+ attendees β WOLKIS exhibitor 2027 targeted), HIMSS Middle East (Abu Dhabi), DUPHAT (Dubai). Rafed registration in process to add the centralized channel.
We are facility data providers, not clinical actors. Infection Control Practitioners (ICPs) retain full clinical authority β their lab sampling programs, sterilization protocols, isolation procedures are outside WOLKIS scope. Our role: provide ICPs with one additional data layer (DHW + cooling tower temperature trends, non-clinical IAQ) that may inform their Legionella risk decisions. We do not integrate with infection surveillance systems and we do not present our data as clinical evidence. During WOLKIS pilot, ICP review is recommended at week 2 β covering sensor placement vs. facility workflow, data ownership, escalation pathways for temperature exceedances. WOLKIS does not seek to replace, displace, or duplicate ICP authority.
Yes β group-level rollouts are core to our healthcare product strategy. Pricing is structured for both single-facility and group-wide deployments. Group HQ procurement teams can negotiate volume terms via Platinum partner tier (50+ facilities). White-label dashboards available for groups integrating WOLKIS into existing operations reporting. Multi-emirate deployments coordinated through Primeshield UAE entity to maintain ICV qualification.
